Days 5 – 8, The 100 Day Project

I recently read a question that asked, if I had infinite money, no fear, and didn’t feel the need to receive recognition what would I do or create? When I answered the question for myself, it was a tremendously long list of wildly creative ideas. The end result is this amazing list and that is because all limitations were removed. No fear of rejection or need of acceptance. If I consider the most tangible thing to hold me back would be money, (I get it, money is a big deal) then progressing towards those ideas doesn’t seem so daunting or far fetched after all. There are small steps one can do to progress towards any one of those ideas.

I’m enjoying season 5 of The 100 day project. It is season 5 for me. For others it could be season 1 or season 10. I’m enjoying working without limitation on what I draw and without worry it’s not perfect or finished. In the past I had to finish whatever it was in that day and sitting. It had to be part of a series or it had to carry on from the last. This season there’s no rhyme or reason. It could be pencil, it could be pen, it could be watercolor, it could be mixed with words, it could not. What’s most important to me is that I’m setting aside the time to create, even just 10 minutes.

Here is a look at days 5, 6, 7, and 8. Tech Decks, sleeping puppies, and a matcha progression.
