Day 2: The 100 Day Project

“Embarrassment is an under-explored emotion, go out there and make a fool of yourself.” – Austin Butler

This season, I am revealing everything, scribbles, and scratches, finished or not. It is incredibly awkward and a little embarrassing.

Day 2, I took time to write. I go into it with no plan. I start writing what is in my brain until it starts to make sense. If I feel empty, I scribble. While I was eating lunch in my truck for school pick up, two towers atop the rolling hillside caught my eye. I could imagine there is a trail up there following the tower lines along the hillside.

This is a gel pen. I am not a fan of using pen. Every mark I make is permanent. I have issues with permanence. I also had the opportunity to begin sketching the next project in the advanced watercolor course. Not one of these projects is finished. Maybe some are not intended to be finished but they are intended to be experienced.
