Sweet Savory Sustainable

Continuing education and expanding my experience.

During the project, I am challenging myself to draw with any medium, with any amount of time, and with whatever reference is right in front of me.

On weekdays I must wait till I am in the pickup line at school or at the end of the evening while the kids are getting ready for bed. I used to put restraints on the time I had to dedicate to sketching. Because of this I could not stay consistent. Let’s be honest, messy short practice is better than no practice at all.

This was a quick pencil sketch last night before bed. Fitting for an odd day of interacting with other humans. It’s bananas out there in the world… drawing what is right in front of me.
